In addition to her design work, Cassandra spearheaded the production of an art and history documentary for a top museum event.

Titled “China’s Great History As Told By Two 18thc Screens,  a year later the film parlayed into a one hour PBS television show.

Explore China’s past dynasties as history unfolds through unique art narratives and imperial calligraphic texts found on two 18thC Lacquer Painted Screens.

Over the course of numerous years, experts in the field of Asian antiquities have examined and researched these rare objects of art. The consensus is that these two Screens are most likely the only ones in the world that capture the combination of size, historical significance, imperial calligraphy, and rare landscape paintings that were done in an artistic technique known as hand brushed color lacquer on lacquer.
